For over 23 years, Youth Invest Partners delivered long-term outcomes in the Greater Washington region.

We deployed management expertise and over $133 million in capital to 34 non-profits to strengthen executive leadership, to increase the capacity of local nonprofits, to bring together Collaborative Action Networks, and to foster cross-sector collaborations in our three core issue areas: Early Childhood Education, Career and College Readiness, and Boys and Young Men of Color.

We are pleased that our work continues and evolves under the management of other like-minded organizations:

  • The Student Well Being Data Project was completed by our longtime partner, Education Forward DC, and was implemented city-wide by the DC Office of the State Superintendent of Education. Education Forward DC has also continued to advance our programmatic work on Boys and Young Men of Color.
  • Our Early Childhood Education work through the Advancing Early Education Collaborative was completed with oversight from Martha’s Table.
  • DC Action has continued our Career & College Readiness work and integrated some of our Early Childhood Education work with theirs. DC Action leads the local stakeholder coalition of the Campaign for Grade-Level Reading. It is also exploring the continuation of relationships between the District of Columbia and StriveTogether.
